3: Seen around a corner, candles light the mostly empty void that was once a department store. Two figures are distantly seen crouched over the ground.
Mel: You know, hon, when you said we should go to the mall together…

Can almost make out what the name of the mall was. “NORTH SA**II MALL”
I’d guess “SAADII” – an allusion to the our-world-history Saadi Sultanate, mayhaps?

You can see these malls allover the World Since the pandemic in Our Universe. Malls that were Just holding on closed.. And Never Reopened, I’m assuming this maybe in Cairo somewhere.. In their Universe, as we all know, Upheavals of any kind will cause western Consumerism to Fall.
