1: Julia’s shape, seen through the fogged glass.
2: Melissa watches, blushing,
3: but then looks sad as she turns to leave.
4: Alone in the shower, Julia is leaning against the wall, looking at her hands.
5: Her hand prods at her leg, parting some of the wet fur.
6: In a blurry flashback, we see her leg from years ago as she prods at small scars hidden beneath her fur.
7: Julia hugs arms around herself and slowly lowers down.
8: She slides down to crouch closer to the ground, head tucked into her arms.
Poor girls… they really, really need to talk. And Julia likely needs to freaking cry.
Therapy is DESPERATELY needed here. Trauma’s trauma, even if they need to be circumspect about the details.
100% agreed
Omg your so right.. Talk about PTSD
Wow, yeah.
I hope that Julia doesn’t merge with a black idol, again, but-
it must be quote a thing- to be pulled into a fog of a mobster, + lose your sense of having your body, and then finding you way back to your body, again.
Wow. That must be hard to deal with. ^^;
I mean, monster, not mobster. the B and N are close together, on my keyboard.
Arrrg!
I meant, QUITE a thing?
I give up! I’m too tired. I’m going to bed, now. 😀
Couldn’t quite grasp it without the panel explanations, but;
Julia used to have a scar there. It’s gone now. She came out of the Idol restored back to her normal self, but seemingly with all those little things a living body accrues over time gone.
To quote a manga series everyone should really read anyway; “So basically I’m a clone of the original Sho Fukamachi.
How should I feel about that?”
Well, being part of the black mass, Julia came out whole and new, so no healed scars at all…
Yeah, I can see that.
I think that muscle memory(s), and a person’s thoughts about their bodies, make someone say- ‘this is me’, or ‘this is a big part of me’.
If you get a 100% new body, and your memories, and [personality or soul or whatever it is], is put in it, are you REALLY you again?
Hm.
