2: The mom sits up, rubbing her eyes.
Mom: That you, angel?

3: The door slides open and the daughter peeks in, face wet with tears.
Girl: I had another bad dream…

4: The dad, stirs and looks over his shoulder.
Mom: Come here, little one…
Dad: Mrf... everything okay?

5: The mother has hoisted the daughter up to hug her to her chest. The girl glances at her father with subtle resentment.
Mom: Get some sleep, love, I’ll take care of this.

6: The dad pulls blankets over himself, pouting slightly.
