Issue 21: Page 2
Transcript
1: A happy couple – a feline and an otter – eat some street food in front of a snow leopard dressed in martian cosplay.
2: On a small stage, a three-person band perform.
3: The vague shape of a crowd shifts distantly between buildings. Down a more isolated street is a police station.
4: In the cold, sterile interrogation room of the New Cairo police department, a middle aged man – a Ruppell’s fox of stocky build with dusty orange fur and a swath of darker brown hair between his ears which he keeps swept to one side – sits quietly and alone. His right eye is milky white from blindness. He sits by a medium-sized rectangular table, framed by two chairs. A small window with frosted glass lets in some daylight.
Ok so they leave him there while everyone calibrates?? talk about bad karma..
I’m really liking the transcripts; not being the most observant person, I like having some of the more subtle details spelled out.
That happy couple is really adorable. 😀
Oh, just noticed the numbering in the transcripts! There are only four panels but the numbers split the page into mine sections! It’s like a way of scripting page layout!
A lot of the details of the fox got squeezed out by the space/perspective in the panel.
Oh, yeah that’s how I write it out in the script for drawing/editing, but oops, I usually try to renumber it for transcripts.
