1: Hedgeworth exits the long stairs from the ruins in cold silence, back in his disguise.
Julia (in narration): The library remained closed for almost a year after renovations were completed.
The false wall concealing the Idol was installed shortly before the library opened, with the entrance to the ruins similarly covered over.
2: Hedgeworth watches workers work, sitting in silence in the background, his suitcase beside him.
3: Now at night, Hedgeworth still sits, watching nothing, seeming to barely move, deep in thought.
Julia (in narration): There’s no mention of Dahl or Hedgeworth after the library opened to the public. No police reports, letters or an obituary under either of his names.
4: Hedgeworth opens his case.
5: Inside the open case, his fingers rest on the biological alien gun.
Probably because there wasn’t much left to find afterwards if the end of this page is anything to go by.
