1: Julia shuffles through the doors leading to the laundry room and back door.
2: To the sound of outside rattling, she has hand on the door.
3: A view of the outside. She’s peeking out, lighting the ground with her phone. The world outside is still and silent.
4: She closes the door, turning around and shaking her head.
5: Her ears perk as she sound starts again, rushing wind and rattling.
6: Door open again, the outside is silent, dark, and still.
… No drone out there this time.
It’s not paranoia if they really are out to get you, but in this case… poor Julia.
This could be another Creature hunting Julia Again…
She separated bits of herself and sent them out when she did her jail break when partially reverted to her true form… it could be those pieces are now coming back to her, they want to come home and be assimilated by her… or due to the long term radiate exposure mutate into wolf cubs.
I hadn’t thought of that. Holy crap that makes the whole ‘come home’ name even more… oh woooow.
I bet it’s a stray cat, that’s messing up her garden shed. 😀
I really LOVE Julia’s eyes, + her expression, in the 2nd to last panel.
That picture is great art, all on it’s own. 🙂
