Issue 20, Page 47
Gosh, this Friday is the last page of Issue 20!
Transcript
1: At the base of the wall, on the Egypt side, Rhoda rests near a door in a parking lot, tapping at her phone. A car is slowly driving past, its headlights illuminating the scene as a hooded scalie waits nearby.
2: Rhoda looks at her phone as this car parks and people get out, she wears a long-sleeved yellow shirt in the dark, cold night.
3: The headlights of a car cast the shadow of two people onto the wall as they talk. They’re not people shadows, but the silhouettes of two writhing, tentacled beasts.
4: With a look of disgust, Rhoda turns away.
And now she can no longer… not see the roots. She cannot unsee the shadows through the veil.
Yep! That’s about how I see it. 😀
I think that Rhoda now has some Lovecraftian-monster type abilities, whether see wants to, or not.
You can take a girl out of Spooky Town, but you can’t take the Spooky Town out of the girl. Oh Man.
If she wasn’t celibate before, I imagine she is now. Watching a kiddy show would be bad, think of how torturous the “adult” content would be to her
Pretty sure there’s a Lovecraft story about a preacher that happens to.
The brain bleach isn’t helping.
Do we get to see how she sees our other heroines?
‘Ugly’ is almost a completely subjective word. Who’s to say the black idol isn’t beautiful? And what’s so wrong with becoming part of a whole?
