1: A computer screen with the countdown at zero. The chamber’s control text displays: “Radiation noise cancellation: 93.35%”

2: Sedjet holds his hand out.

Sedjet: It’s… it’s so quiet…

3: We see his face, an intrigued and concentrating expression.

Sedjet: Didn’t know… how loud it all was…

4: His hand flinches and twists, distorting slightly as his joints crack.

Sedjet: I can… feel it…

5: It twists more, stretching: fur starting to pull apart, fingers starting to liquefy into the black mass and lose structure.

6: Sedjet’s expression is strained, tearing up, as he stares at his hand. It’s not really a hand at this point: with none of the radiation to keep his body in check and, realizing what he is, he wills his arm to contort and stretch into a dark tentacle.

Sedjet: I can… hear it…
