1: The group descend down a long ramp.
Krizman: We… We’ve spent billions of dollars researching and preparing for a lunar base… and, and here, someone’s done it already…
Rati: I wonder if some of this place was built into old lava tunnels. I’m not reading any radiation at all.
2: At the bottom of the ramp they enter a large, pitch black room.
Rati: What could they possibly be doing below the surface? Did they live here? Was it research?
3: A flare is lit as they look out in shock and surprise.
I like the way you depict the flares working. Appears that different salts (strontium, Barium, …) determine the color of the flare. I know because I ,when younger,worked in a college chemistry lab and had to prepare flares for lecture demos.
