EMERGENCY ALERT:
THE GIRLS ARE FIGHTINGGGGG
alt joke: Oh, don’t lose your head!
For some reason the song ‘ballroom blitz’ popped into my head while look at this page. Wondering how they’re going to get things back under control… surely they planned for this possibility.
The last panel implies that they even knew who some of the doppelgängers were.
I wanted to think that makes sense since Okpara can share info with fellow kae kariin but the hedgehog seems to be one of the ‘enhanced’ kariins… dunno how buddy-buddy they are
Ah, Issue 28, Page 28? So we have three factions at play here. At least.
I wasn’t expecting those who were taken over by those raptors to fight against the Black Mass doppelgangers. Sounds like they were more ready than everyone was expecting.
As the insectoid aliens from many issues ago said, many civilizations (alien and Earthling) are threatened by the Black Mass. It seems to want to *reincorporate* the Earthlings, and to consume the others. In other words, it is a threat to everyone who isn’t allied with it.
Made more sense once I thought about it. If the raptors were around as long as they said, they would know how to recognize and fight against the Black Mass.
