Transcript
1: Seen from far above, the figure climbs a metal ladder up a tall, narrow tunnel.
2: They stop part way up and taps a claw on the nearby wall, receiving a dull thunk from the metal.
3: They climbs further upwards, taps again, and hears a more hollow sound.
4: Their claw now glows yellow-white and pushes into the metal, carving it open.
5: The regal living room of Zalef’s is seen yet again. A hole is being carved open in the floor.
6: Rhoda pulls herself up out of the hole. Her spooky hooded cloak has been replaced with a more Victorian outfit but much of her body, including her eyes, are wrapped up in bandages.
1. I thought that was her.
2. *Interesting*. Perhaps the gods are (nothing more than) Sufficiently Advanced Aliens (see TV Tropes)?
Who is Zalef?
I believe we’ve seen Zalef, but I forget who that is.
He’s the black smiling cat who wears a suit and hat…like Oppenheimer. He was arguing with Tazim-puppetering-Mel earlier in the issue.
Well, SOMEONE wants front row seats to the Zalef show…the spiders seem to have already taken it tho.
