2: A pair of astronauts are seen driving together, wearing newer versions of the Naga-skin spacesuits. One is a male fox as seen in Issue #1; the other is a female tanuki.

3: They approach the lunar temple: out from giant cracks in the side of a cliff are the stiff and gray limbs of black mass, extended across the surface like bulging, petrified veins.
